Quite a few of my days involve being surrounded by amazing supercars, however to have the opportunity to collect one of my favourite McLaren’s is something that doesn’t happen everyday.
The McLaren 570S is a car that on the market doesn’t seem very popular, however when in the gorgeous Ventura Orange colour the car sure does catch your eye. The 570S comes with the typical 3.8L twin turbo V8 engine, the engine that serves McLaren right up to the P1 GTR (Although modified differently, as you would expect), brings 562bhp meaning the car reaches 60mph in a hugely impressive time of 3.1 seconds and has a top speed of 204mph.
We picked the car up and had a rather fun drive back to the office. The amount of people that were turning their heads and getting cameras ready was unbelievable. I think its safe to say Ventura Orange is certainly a colour that fits perfectly to the 570S. Even having to valet this car wasn’t bad because of the bright and mean looking exterior. Once fully valeted we took it for the sales shoot (car is up for sale with Hampshire Classics), which is were I managed to get these pictures. As I’m sure you can see the road it is parked on is private and has a very long straight, so it’s safe to say we had a very good experience of the car!
Now, like I’ve said before, the 570S doesn’t seem to be the most desirable to McLaren buyers. However with the news of the 570S Spider I have a feeling that may change things for the 570S line!
