The Grand Tour host is believed to have been involved in a serious crash in Switzerland. Hammond has recently been seen driving the Rimac Concept One, a £2million pound super electric car. According to Swiss newspaper 20 Minuten, the 47-year-old was driving on a road that had been closed for the Bergrennen Hemberg race before the car left the road, rolled and burst into flames.

A police spokesperson stated that the person involved in the crash had not been identified but two sources told 20 Minuten that it was in fact the former Top Gear presenter.
It has been confirmed that Hammond is in a stable condition in hospital. The only injury he sustained was a fratured knee.
It was the biggest crash I've ever seen and the most frightening but incredibly, and thankfully, Richard seems to be mostly OK.
