In an effort to promote road safety and discourage the sort of pathetic behaviour, Sussex police have released the following dashboard footage of a woman driving a Vauxhall Corsa three times over the drink-drive limit. The shocking footage shows the woman swerving all over a dual carriageway, mounting verges and crashing through hedges before driving into the back of a parked car.
Incredibly, the woman was uninjured after the incident and was arrested and breathalysed by police shortly after. The woman, named as 41-year-old teacher Louise Willard, reached speeds of 51mph in a 30 zone, but staggeringly only received 150 hours community service and 24-month driving ban!
The general consensus on the internet is outrage at the level of punishment with many calling for steeper fines and jail time for such inexcusable behaviour.
